What We Do
The mission of the Office of Research Administration (ORA) is to provide transparent and efficient administrative support to faculty, staff, and students to advance the University mission of intellectual distinction. ORA provides services covering the range of research from basic research to its application and commercialization. Our responsibilities are to
- support and foster scholarly work,
- facilitate multidisciplinary initiatives,
- support, coordinate, and direct sponsored and non-sponsored research activities,
- support, coordinate, and direct University-based technology transfer programs,
- support and advise in areas of research compliance.

The Office of Research Administration includes the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP), the Office of Research Compliance (ORC), the Office of Technology Transfer (OTT), Institutional Research Board (IRB) and Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC).
